Simon Love & the Old Romantics

Following recent album ‘It Seemed Like A Good Idea At The Time’ (Fortuna Pop), Simon Love has returned immediately with new EP ‘Tennis Fan’, out on limited edition tennis balls.
Formerly of bubblegum-garage John Peel favourites The Loves, Simon’s recent offerings have drawn decade-spanning comparisons from Adam Green and Father John Misty to “a potty-mouthed Macca”, Elliott Smith, Big Star, early Todd Rundgren, early Elton John and The Kinks.
“There’s something uniquely British and wickedly funny going on here” 4/5 Shindig! Magazine
