Oh Peas! is Rosie Smith, a Cardiff-based solo sadpop outfit forged in the grizzly winter of 2014 as a side project from post-punk whizzkids Totem Terrors. Living between Bristol and Cardiff, Oh Peas! wound gentle pop roots into the music scenes and has been making headway on the national indie-pop circuit at IndieTracks, Wales Goes Pop!, Leicester PopFest, Nottingham Pop All-dayer and DIY Popfest London.
Over almost a decade, Rosie has been a member of a number of bands including The School, Totem Terros, and still occasionally moonlights with Palomica, Trust Fund, and They Is They Is They Is. Taking influences from delicate greats like Gorky’s Zygotic Mynci, The Marine Girls, Ivor Cutler, and Casiotone For The Painfully Alone, Rosie has released two albums and an EP: Shades of Intolerance (2014), Year of the Horse (2014), and Difficult Second Chair (2015).
