Glass Ankle is a band which is lead by songwriter, Greg Jackson, who started things off with a suitcase full of songs inspired by his time spent living and travelling in Japan. Since teaming up with some musician friends to form Glass Ankle in 2010, Greg’s desire to bring his music into fruition has resulted in a sound that encompasses soaring melodies, impeccable boy-girl harmonies, oozing guitar and synth passages, and subtle experimentalism.
Based in Manchester and Cheshire, England, the band has gained an impressive reputation for their distinctive and eclectic style, leading to comparisons with a diverse range of artists, including Yo La Tengo, Beach House, Gomez, Tunng, Belle and Sebastian, and ’13-era’ Blur.
